Rakov Škocjan and the Travel Diary

In October 2023, we went on a wonderful trip to Rakov Škocjan, a natural pearl of Slovenia. We were curious to see what this enchanting corner of nature had to offer. And I can say that it did not disappoint us.

We started the journey at the Big Natural Bridge and walked along the educational trail, which stretches 2.5 km in one direction all the way to the Small Natural Bridge. Just the right distance, suitable for the whole family. You can take the trail or choose the wider gravel path. Count on at least 3 hours for the visit (walking + reading the signs + talking + observing natural phenomena + snack).

We chose the trail and along the way we discovered many interesting things that this part of the karst world has to offer (there are many educational signs along the trail, but not along the gravel road).

I got the idea for the trip from the Travel Journal . The journal is a real refresh on the market compared to other travel journals that quickly become dust collectors in the closet. This journal is truly useful, as it contains timeless challenges that keep children engaged, regardless of the destination.

We were impressed by the good, clear and short explanations and extremely interesting tasks. And what I think is even better is that this diary is not just for one-time use during a trip. It becomes a real family memory that children love to leaf through and read over and over again, thus renewing their knowledge (and haunting memories of beautiful shared moments).

In my opinion, the travel diary is suitable for school and preschool children, with the help of parents. The content is well thought out and you can tell that it was designed by teachers. The information is presented in a really good and interesting way.

We have already solved three chapters and visited three different places in Slovenia. Through the diary, we can get to know the whole of Slovenia in a wonderful way, as the diary has a planned trip for each region (8 ready-made trips + 1 of our own choice). I believe that the Travel Diary will come in handy many times and will enrich our family trips. It is also worth mentioning that the Travel Diary is printed with high quality and has a really fair price (a little less than €23 or two pizzas ).

We are excited and can't wait for the next trips.
