Walking trail Log Čezsoški - Srpenica (Lipuc bridge)

One of our favorite walks in the valley in winter . Easy and with a beautiful view of the Soča River and the surrounding hills.

Walking time : approx. 2 hours (3 km one way, but you can of course turn around earlier)

Suitable for children : even for the youngest. Suitable for children in a carrier or hiking backpack, as well as for a children's sports stroller. The path is wide macadam all the time
road.

Starting point : the village of Log Čezsoški. I suggest you park in front of the village on a small macadam area next to the ecological island.

Description of the route: From there, you go through the village and look for the Julian-Alp or Alpe Adria Trail signs. The route is part of both of the aforementioned hiking trails (part of one of the stages). Follow the signs for Srpenica or Trnovo ob Soči. Walk along the wide macadam road all the way along the Soča River (on its left bank). In the summer, you can observe numerous rafters and kayakers on the water. The route is mostly flat, completely undemanding and also suitable for a stroller, pushchair or bicycle. It will take you to the Lipuc bridge, where you turn around and return along the same route (of course, you can adjust the route and walk a shorter or even longer distance - continue the walk towards Trnovo ob Soči).

Required equipment : plenty of water. In summer, avoid walking during the hottest part of the day.
as the path is mostly open and sunny.
